NY24, day cruiser with an unmistakable design, synonymous with craftsmanship and Made in Italy design, will be exhibited at the second edition of the Venice Boat Show.

Fano (PU), 25^th May 2021 – Nerea Yacht, the nautical laboratory located near Fano where about two years ago a new story, made of determination, competence and creativity came to life, is pleased to announce its presence at the next edition of the Venice Boat Show, where the new NY24 Deluxe “Bit of Blue” will be displayed on its pedestal, like a real work of art.

There could not have been a better opportunity than the event in Venice’s Arsenale – a symbolic city of the naval industry and passion for boating – to present the new NY24 Bit of Blue to the public. This is a day cruiser conceived and built with a bespoke approach, to offer highly distinguishable features to the most attentive and demanding owners. Clean and timeless design, with attention to the smallest details, make every craft a unique piece thanks to a careful selection of materials, a functionality that translates into ease of use and outstanding performances.

NY24 Bit of Blue presents a combination of warm and extremely elegant colours, which perfectly match the natural tone of the teak that covers the walkways: a highly sought-after shade of pearl blue envelops the lines of the hull and superstructure, while a particular Terra di Siena colour characterizes the external cushions in eco-leather. The same ecological leather upholstery is also repeated in the cabin for some elements such as the backrest of the sofa and the central section of the ceiling, in combination with the light and soft fabric chosen for the seat cushions. For the interiors, the combination of textures is completed by another precious and avant-garde material, which perfectly matches the craftsmanship of the shipyard, chosen by Nerea Yacht for the finishes: Oltremateria, an eco-friendly oil-based coating material, the result of careful technological research, fireproof and breathable as well as recyclable and free of toxic substances for humans.

Even the technology is always part of this project and must be within the reach of a Nerea owner; thus, boat automation has been added on board the Bit of Blue unit, which allows all the control systems to be integrated into the dashboard display, with the same controls being sent back to a tablet or smartphone ….. in short, everything is at owner’s fingertips.

Among the novelties proposed by Nerea Yacht – and which can be “touched” at the Venice’s Arsenale – we point out the new totally custom pilot seat: born thanks to the consolidated collaboration between the founder of the shipyard, Dario Messina, and the designers Davide Bernardini and Alessio Battistini of IdeaeITALIA, the chair, with a unique and unmistakable design, incorporates in its lines the style A of the company logo, which is not simply embroidered or printed on the backrest, but itself becomes the supporting structure of the seat and a highly characterizing element. Designed to first of all guarantee a comfortable and ergonomic driving position, the new chair also represents an aesthetic element of pure design.

After a careful design of the shapes, in fact, a prototype was created and tested by attentively choosing the upholstery, the basic structure, the mechanisms for adjusting the position, and of course the external materials, offering a high level of customization given by an infinite range of colours, fabrics and eco-leathers among the finest and at the same time suitable for the marine environment.

The double stitching characterizes the backrest, the front portion of the seat, which folds upwards, allows a comfortable drive even in an upright position, ensuring a solid and comfortable support for the back.

A retractable footrest in stainless steel combines with the ergonomics of the seat to satisfy every need for driving position.

Further news in the commercial and production spheres, in continuity with Nerea Yacht’s core values, will be unveiled very soon.

NY24 DELUXE

The heart of the boat is the living area in the central cockpit, with a fine convertible dinette where, lowering the central table, this space turns into an inviting, extended sunbathing area. The cockpit can be equipped with two drawer refrigerators, a concealed sink and a stove to guarantee sociable entertainment.

A very spacious swim platform and the transom on three levels make a very easy access onboard or down to the water, and the engine room hatch, with remote electrical opening, makes inspections quite simple.

The entire walkable surfaces – from the swim platform to the front deck and even the steps in the cabin – are covered by teak, a refined and natural material which contributes to give a classic/modern signature to the boat style.

Protection from the sun is granted by a practical bimini top which extends over the entire living area.

When not in use, you can replace it in a dedicated locker and the four carbon poles find space inside two pockets created in the hull, very easily accessible from the cockpit.

Thanks to a careful study of the proportions, the designers managed to get very roomy interior spaces in less than 8 meters in length. In fact, below deck, NY24 presents a cabin with a large container sofa – convertible in double berth – an enclosed toilet niche and a very welcoming environment to ensure a comfortable stay on board throughout the day and, if desired, even at night.

Comfort is also given by the audio-video system and the natural light flooding the cabin, thanks to two long windows on the sides. A central glass hatch, with double sliding doors, allows a very easy access in the cabin.

The design process was not dedicated only to aesthetic features but, of course, also to practical aspects: a “special-V” shape hull with 18.5° deadrise with lateral planning supports has been developed to offer great comfort when the boat is moored or at anchor, thanks to the increased floating surface, but also a fast gliding entrance with a soft passage on the wave and safe driving even in rough seas.

The remarkable seaworthiness of NY24 makes her perfect to sail alongshore or offshore, and thanks to a very low draught, she can enter bays and creeks with very low seabed.

The powerful Volvo engine connected to the duoprop sterndrive installed on the first unit guarantees great performances with a top speed of 38 knots and a comfortable cruising of 28 knots.

Nothing is left to chance on NY24: in the bow, the stemhead roller with automatic anchor launch and retrieve system is designed to respect the external lines of the boat and is activated from the dashboard.

NY24 is also trailerable, so the owner has the opportunity to comfortably move his boat to the lake or the sea with no need for special permits.

ONE MODEL, THREE DIFFERENT VERSIONS

Alongside the Deluxe version, two new variants of this model are the GT and the LIMO:

NY24 GT presents an unmistakable design, being the perfect day cruiser for sunbathing and day trips, also suitable as a weekender to spend an overnight on board. NY24 GT is a fun and gritty motorboat, a sea roadster that offers high performances combined with perfect manoeuvrability and that pleasant feeling of wind in the hair.

NY24 Limo, the third solution proposed for this model, is aimed in particular at owners looking for tenders of the same stylistic level of their superyacht: a real walkaround which, while maintaining the clean and stylish lines of the original model, is presented without a forward bridge and without cabin; an all-open boat that, thanks to its construction height, intentionally kept low, is perfectly suited to easily enter into the garage of large motoryachts.

Thanks to the significant collaboration with Pro Nautik, major dealer based in Switzerland, the new NY24 Deluxe will be available, in October, for three weeks of test drives in Romanshorn.

After the great public attention received during its first presence at the 58th edition of Interboot 2019, recently concluded in Friedricshafen, the new NY24 will be available for test drives in Romanshorn, on the Swiss shore of Lake Constance, home of the prestigious Pro Nautik dealer, who decided to organize, for their customers and in particular for those who have shown their interest for the new Nerea model, three weeks of water test sessions.

From 7^th to 11^th, then from 14^th to 18^th and from 21^st to 25^th of October, potential customers and journalists will have the pleasure of testing the remarkable marine qualities of NY24 with its “special V” shape hull which offers a soft passage on the wave and safe driving even in rough waters.

The small sizes of NY24 – 7.35 meters long and 2.50 wide – make the boat trailerable, so perfect to be comfortably towed to the lake with no need for special permits.

NY24 is also eco-friendly, thanks to the feasibility of installing an auxiliary electric jet propulsion system: another solution that makes the boat ideal for cruising on the lake.
